Studio Facilities @ Mark Custom
Mark Studios is a state of the art facility with over 904 square feet of recording studio space and 415 square feet of control room space. Our main room features the 36x24 Amek M3000 is the featured recording console, or the 100% digital Panasonic DA-7 board. Tape machines include an Otari MTR-90 24 track analog, 24 tracks of Panasonic MDA-1 A-Dats, 8 channels or Alesis 8 track digital, 15 Panasonic 2 track DATs, Sony DMP-100 1/2" digital, dbx-700 1/2" digital, and Sony 1630 3/4" two track digital along with Ampex ATR-100 and Otari MX-5050 2 track analog machines. Our outboard gear includes dbx-566 dual tube compressor, dbx-576 preamp compressor, Finalizer Plus, Lexicon 224X, PCM-42, 60, 70, 80, LXP-1, 5, 15, Alex, AKG ADR-68K, Yamaha SPX 90, SPX 9011, EMT 240 Gold Foil Reverb, Echoplate 11 Reverb, Roland SDE-1000, MXR-175 digital delay, (2) - dbx-900 mainframes with noise gates, compressors, de-essers, parametric EQ, (6) dbx - 160X compressors, UREI 1176 Peak limiters, UREI LA-3 and LA-4 compressor limiters, UREI 545 parametric EQ, MXR flanger/doubler, Barcus Berry BBE 802, EXR exciter, Furman Q-301, Symetrix SX-552E, Clark Technics graphic EQ, Furman HA-6A.

Our studio also features a 6'7" Kimball grand piano, EMAX HD sampling keyboard, complete digital editing and computerization for midi production, 137 Nakamichi cassette decks, CD mastering services, CDR Duplication, easy load in and load out directly into the studio, complete CD and cassette production including custom art design, and a location that is next to the beautiful Clarence Parker Park with basketball courts, tennis courts and an atmosphere that is calm and completely away from city congestion.

Mark Digital Editing Services:
We currently feature two digital editing suites. The main suite features a Digidesign Sound Tools II package with Waves, L1, Q10, and DINR plug ins; Masterlist CD software, Lexicon PCM-80;Sony PCM-2800 four head DAT machine;Kodak PCD Writer 225 and Carver PDR-10 CD recorders; dbx 566 Tube compressors, TC Electronics Finalizer 96K; PMC 1b1S monitors, Tannoy PBM 6.5 and/or UREI 811 monitors; powered by Bryston 4BST Power Amp, and Mood Audio 800P Power Amps.

We will be adding a third room in late 1999, that will feature either the Sonic Solutions system or Sadie Editing system along with a Manley Variable MU Compressor, Manley Massive Passive EQ, Lexicon PCM 81 or 91, and 24 bit A-D converters. Stay tuned for updated info.
